I find it hard to photograph "dark" paintings. I usually capture lots of glare. The white on the field part of the painting is reflections from the texture.

Mar 4 Daily Painting Farm Landscape Original Painting

Well, we made it through the blizzard (17" of snow) without losing power, thank the Lord! But with the kids and hubby in the house it was hard to get painting done. I did manage to finish up some pieces I have been working on and will hopefully list them all this week.

This painting 5"x7" original acrylic painted on masonite. I was thinking of a warm spring day when I painted this. Here it is...a perfect day with a lite wind, clear blue skies and green grass all around.
