I thought I would post something a little different. A few years ago I mainly painted still lifes of fruits, veggies and flowers. I sat down a few weeks ago and painted these chili peppers and will be finishing up some daffodils soon.

Feb 7 Original Tonalist Landscape on Vintage Ceiling Tin Framed

SOLD! I thought I would try something different with my vintage ceiling tin paintings. My tin comes off the ceiling in 2'x16' (yes, feet! my husband is a wonderful guy) so I cut them down, usually into 12x12 pieces. This time I kept 2 pieces together and tried out a diptych format. This comes custom frame with a wide black wood frame. Just gorgeous! You really need to see it in person...

I call this painting "Country Neighbors". I placed one farmstead on oneside of the tin and another on the opposite side. Neighbors can still be a half mile or more apart and still be considered neighbors!
