SOLD! Todays painting is for an original acrylic on wood panel 10x10 I call "Change of Seasons". This is a serene landscape featuring a lone tree and soft snow falling. If you need a painting guaranteed to bring down your blood pressure then don't pass it up!
Hi Toni,
ReplyDeleteI admire your technique and spirit and have enjoyed following your blog. Just noticed you mentioned varnish and I wonder what product you use. I'm an acrylic painter in Poulsbo, WA, active in a co-op gallery. I just bought some Golden varnish but haven't tried it yet. I'm mostly interested in evening out the differences between gloss and matte in my finished paintings. Do you have any tips to pass on from your experience? I would really appreciate your advice.
Thanks, Julia Miller
Hi Julia
ReplyDeleteI use Krylon Kamar spray varnish for my paintings. It is kinda a love/hate relationship. I do like the finish, great for areas that are not smooth. it really sets in the color so the end product is really nice. It can be frustrating cause it can take 2-3 coats and once in a while it is spotty, which I can't figure out.
Hope I helped, sorry it took so long to respond.
Take care,
Toni
