I thought I would list 2-3 larger paintings a week that I am starting low with NO RESERVE (means highest bid wins). This painting is a beautiful 16x20 original acrylic on masonite. I have this started at only $65 with no reserve. You will need to frame this painting if you want to hang it. Fortunately you can find standard 16x20 frames at any craft shop.

Oct 11 Original Painting Framed Nighttime Corn Crib Falling Star

SOLD Today' posting is for a striking painting of a nighttime farm scene. I accidently rubbed one of the wet white spots (stars) and it streaked. It looked like a falling star to me so I kept it in.

I never know where a painting is going to go! Some I like more than others and I do have to say this is one of my favs.

Today' post is for an original acrylic on masonite painting of a farm scene featuring a lone corn crib. I have notice that when a farmstead is torn down, a lot of time they leave the corn crib.

Unfortuately Iowa is dotted with lone corn cribs.

Sept 27 Beach Ocean Person Feeding Seagulls Painting

I love this painting! There is a lot going on in a small 4"x6" original acrylic on masonite painting. I put a person on a beach feeding seagulls in it for interest and scale. I have this started at 9.95 with no reserve! A reserve is placed if the seller wants their item to sell only if it meets a certain price. I can start a painting at 9.95 but put a reserve on it, for example: $50. That means it won't sell unless someone bids at least $50 or more. If someone bids $49.99, a seller is not obligated to sell. Some people disclose how much a reserve is and most do not. There are reasons why a person puts a reserve on an auction rather than just starting at the example of $50.

Sept 23 Painting a Day Red Roof Barn Landscape

Today's painting is for a bright landscape featuring a white barn with a red roof. Most barns do not have red roofs but once in a while you will see a non-typical color of blue, green or red.

I always thought it took a farmer with guts to shingle his buildings with a bright color. I always wondered what that person was like and if he/she got a lot of ribbing at the coffee shop.
