SOLD! Todays painting is for a fun, vibrant, colorful small painting of 2 hereford cows. This is an original acrylic on watercolor paper. I have some extra white mats and pieces of watercolor paper and was hoping to paint some looser, colorful paintings. So far this is the only one that I have finished.

Last summer I was really excited because I was going to do a series of paintings focusing on this barn and the outbuilding surrounding it. Imagine my disappointment when I got there and none of the buildings were standing...a wind storm blew them down the week before. So sad...Iowa loses so many barns a year, I wish I was rich and I would find a way to "adopt" them and preserve some.
