HI All! I guess I am taking some time off of listing and posting. Nothing that I set out to do, just got busy...I am hoping to start posting paintings after Labor Day. I am in the midst of getting one daughter ready for college and another's sweet (??) 16 party.
Good news is that I am doing a lot of painting! I am working on large, medium AND small pieces. I want to build a large inventory of new stuff for both Ebay and Etsy so I can get back to posting/listing with a vengence!.
Etsy is a great site (www.etsy.com) which features arts and crafts straight from the artists. There is a variety of mediums from jewelry to woodworking to painting and everything else you can imagine hand made. It is definitely a site I recommend checking out.

August 6 Serence Calm Ocean Beach Sailboat Painting
SOLD Hi EveryoneWell I took a couple of days off from listing. I had to do some school shopping. Let me tell you, shopping with 2 teenage and one tween girl is NOT my favorite thing to do. But we had some fun and great bonding time. I can't believe how fast this summer is going!
Today's painting is for an original acrylic on masonite. This is something different. My talented brother (who is a custom furniture/cabinet maker) is making me some cradled (with sides) panels for my masonite and wood panels. They are absolutely amazing to paint on. I should be able to paint larger and not require my customers to have to frame anything.
More about these later, he is thinking about selling them too. I will keep you posted.
This painting measures 10x10 and is 2 inches in depth. It can sit on a shelf, table or hang on the wall.

I call this painting "Evening Puddles". I imagine that a storm in the night has passed and the moon has come out, exposing the puddles left behind.

SOLD Hi EveryoneIt is a busy time of year for me. I will be having fun at the cabin this weekend celebrating the annual Lake View Carnival. Then I bravely drive to Omaha on Monday with 4 excited teenagers (girls of course) to see the Jonas Brothers in concert. My youngest daughter and I will be checking out the Old Market in Omaha while they sit?? in their 3rd row seats! We will be staying overnight and coming back on Tuesday. Wed-Sat next week I will be hanging out with my family. My brother and sis in law with their 2 kids will be home from Coeur de lene ID.
