July 2 WHITE CORN CRIB AT NIGHT LANDSCAPE

SOLD I see so many old corn cribs standing alone around the midwest landscape. I am sure at one time they were all
accompanied by a farm house and other outbuildings marking homesteads which were full of activity and families.

In Iowa alone we lose over 100 barns a year and that doesn't count the corn cribs, hog buildings, chicken coops and farm houses from these vintage farmsteads! It is sad to see them go, once they are gone, they are gone forever.

SOLD Today's original acrylic on tin is titled "Spiritual Night". I really love the color combo and simple composition.

I was at the lake last night...it was one of those nights I think of in the dead of a cold winter to help me keep going. It was warm, no bugs, no humidity and the glorious moon was shining brightly on a shimmering lake. I was lucky enough to be in a boat crusin under the stars with my cousins. It was definitely a fun, "Spiritual Night" for me.
