SOLD! Todays painting is for a fun, vibrant, colorful small painting of 2 hereford cows. This is an original acrylic on watercolor paper. Image is 3 7/8" x 5 1/4" and comes with a white mat to fit into an 8x10 frame (please see link to show it with the white mat). I have some extra white mats and pieces of watercolor paper and was hoping to paint some looser, colorful paintings. So far this is the only one that I have finished.

Last summer I was really excited because I was going to do a series of paintings focusing on this barn and the outbuilding surrounding it. Imagine my disappointment when I got there and none of the buildings were standing...a wind storm blew them down the week before. So sad...Iowa loses so many barns a year, I wish I was rich and I would find a way to "adopt" them and preserve some. SOLD! I really love the movement and reality of this tornado painting I call "Raging Nature". Honestly I nailed the funnel part on the first try so left it the way it was. I think you can see the rotation and "lightness" of the dirt and debris whirling around. This is an original acrylic on 1/4th" thick masonite, ready for your 16x20 frame.
