Ironically this painting is called "Beautiful Day". I had to list this one today since it is in such contrast to what we are experiencing here in Iowa. As of now we are experiencing thunder and lightning as it sleets/snows/ice. We are suppose to be north of the expected ice storm but it doesn't look good. I may be off line tomorrow! I suppose this time of year has it's own beauty, I just can't handle the cold!

Dec 15 RED VIBRANT PASTURES ORIGINAL PAINTING

Today's painting is for an original acrylic on vintage tin framed. If you look closely you will see a barn and silo on the horizon line.

Did you know that I got in trouble in kindergarten for taking too long to color and had to stay in for recess? Guess what my favorite color was? RED! Well, that is what I remember, now that I am older I don't think it makes a lot of sense...so who knows what the real story is. Funny the things we think we remember.

There is a lot of unique texture and I took some liberties with color making more of a non-traditional winter scene with a red barn and silo.
