May 6 I'm Back and Celebrating with a Studio Sale!

SOLD! Yeah! It is nice to be posting again. I am starting my studio sale on ebay today. I don't have a lot listed as of now but won't be surprised if I will list 75-100 pieces of art over the next week, so please check them out!

My studio sale will have something for everyone with paintings of various sizes and subject matters. The move has been good but taken longer than I thought (big surprise ha ha).

May 2 Getting Closer to Being Back in the Saddle!

Hi Friends
I am hoping to get back to listing and painting next week. I will start with a studio sale and will be listing them on ebay cheap! I have been keeping busy moving from old house to new house, cleaning out my art stuff from a building to our new home and chairing the after prom committee along with kids activities and our middle daughter's confirmation.

Hopefully our new move will allow more painting time since it will cut down on 6-8 hours of driving a week.

I hope everything is going great for you and your families! It is a gorgeous day here in Iowa. Sending out best wishes to everyone.

Just a note to let you know I am still around! I have been busy with the moving process and haven't gotton much art done. I am setting aside paintings I find for a studio sale when I get settled a bit, hopefully in April.

SOLD! It has been a while since I have posted and that is because we will be moving! I have been busy getting our house ready to sell and that is a full time job. As a result I have to put my art on a back burner for now.

I am hoping I will be able to list a few paintings over the next couple of weeks. Good thing is that once I get moved I will have a larger studio which means larger paintings which a lot of you have requested. Also I am planning on a studio sale in a few weeks so please watch for that!

We did pretty good, the kids actually liked it and will create a positive memory for them. We are very blessed to live in our small town Iowa...it was wonderful to see neighbors pulling together, our city of 500 really had it together and provided shelter and food for those who didn't and our AWESOME volunteer fire department, each and everyone of you are a hero. I can't say enough!

January 2010! Happy New Year!

Well, it was definitely a miracle we didn't lose power since we had a lot of ice, snow and wind the past week. I always look forward to the holidays and spending time with family I am VERY blessed!

It is now officially a new year and want to wish all of you a sincere Happy New Year. I want to thank you for all your support whether it be reading my blog, emailing me or purchasing my art. You enable me to create my art, stay home with the kids and do what I always dreamed of doing (even though I had no idea it would be with art).

In 2010 we are hoping to move to a house that fits our needs better which means a larger studio for me! I am assuming that will enable me to paint on a larger format, something I have wanted to do for a long time. But along with moving means lots of work and distractions from painting so we will see how I can get it all done and still try and post a painting a day. I am looking forward to the challenge.

So I am wishing for you, my friends, a year full of love, prosperity, and dreams coming true. Here's to the wonderful new year and all it's possibilities 2010!
