Today's painting is titled "The New Calf". I really like how this painting turned out. It is a bit on the tonalist side due to the colors I used and gives strong visual impact using a simple minimalist composition. I put an angus cow and calf in the painting for focal point and scale.This painting is a 5"x7" acrylic on masonite. Rather than paint a black border around the edges I sanded and distressed them.
